C.S. Lewis makes it into Poets’ Corner, or will as of next year on this date. I suppose I find it interesting because being commemorated in Poets’ Corner seems like an acknowledgement of canonicity — a literal place among the greats. Although it also seems odd to me that Lewis makes it in there before Tolkien.
